Linux operating systems are extremely stable, and are much less prone to crashes than their Windows counterparts. The updates (for desktops and servers alike) rarely require a reboot to be applied; should a reboot however be required, it could be set to happen at a later time, at night for example, so as to be the least possible in the way of the users.
Whats more, updates management under Linux being altogether different from that of Windows, it does not end up as over-sized system folders eating up hard-disk space, nor as a general slow down of the operating system over time. With Linux, you have a system that just does what it has to do, and does it well. |
